With the arrival of Spring, the boys and girls of Holy Family schools, ably assisted by the Go Léir group,  have been making St. Brigid’s Crosses. These St. Brigid’s Crosses will be available at all masses in Askea this weekend. Well done everyone in maintaining this lovely tradition

Exhibiting at RDS Young Scientist 2012

We had a marvellous time at the RDS Young Scientist Exhibition with our Scratch Computer Programming Project. People were very interested in the project. We also received a lovely award for our project from the judges.

RDS Young Scientists

Holy Family BNS’s Science Club will be exhibiting their projects on computer programming at the RDS Young Scientist’s Exhibition on Thursday 10th January. Each of the twenty  pupils from sixth class created their own computer program that will help other children how to measure accurately with both a regular ruler and a broken one.
