Science Week 2013

We had a very enjoyable science week here in Askea. The sixth class children went to  Carlow IT, where the children were given an excellent lecture by Canadian Scientist Ms. Lynch. This fantastic talk was on the power of physics. We also visited Carlow Library where fourth class were given a most interesting talk on dinosaurs from Australian and TV personality Dale Treadwell. Our after school computer club are also very busy working on their RDS Young Scientist Project. Click on photos to see all these wonderful activities.
