Gaeilge Audio Books.

We are developing a project on creating Audio Irish Books that can be viewed on whiteboards at school or on Ipads at home. Part of this project is to help children, and adults also, learn Irish, particularly in relation to the reading of Irish.

We have uploaded a series of appropriate links to You Tube. Also we have started to upload a leabharlann cainte of our own “Audio Irish Books.”

This is a new project for us and still has some rough edges! All suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Please note: Essential that Viewing Settings in You Tube are set to HD. Otherwise images can be slightly blurry!!! Adjust volume also!
If viewing in school please ensure ” Restricted Mode ” is running.

If your school has You Tube blocked, you can download these clips from a computer that has access to You Tube, onto a memory stick. The memory stick can be used to transfer the relevant video clips onto the school’s computer.  I use a program called Ummy Video Downloader. You can also avoid the ads by using this method.

If you wish, you can copy and paste the links of the Youtube clips directly into your own school site. This allows for selection of resources that you would feel appropriate to your school.
