Credit Union Quiz

Credit Union Quiz January 29th 2010. Holy Family BNS hosted the annual Credit Union Schools Quiz. Twenty teams took part in the quiz representing ten local primary schools. Even though the questions were quite difficult, this did not phase the children who were just brilliant. For example, name the Shakespeare play based on the Epiphany. Answer Twelfth Night. This question was no problem to the children! Benekerry NS just narrowly beat Holy Family BNS by a single point to win the senior competition. Gaelscoil Eoghan Ui Thuairsc won the Junior quiz with Holy Family BNS and Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal in joint second. Scoil Mhuire won the tie breaker by a single point to win second place to Holy Family BNS’s third. The children were just amazing and are a credit to their schools, parents, teachers and communities.
